Close shave at Plas Ingli

You know that big ash tree just inside the gate at Carningli Lodge (well, Plas Ingli, if you insist)?  Well, in the recent high winds a massive limb split off the main trunk and came crashing down.  Luckily, it missed the building -- or what was left of it.  It was ruinous enough as it was, and if the tree had come down on what is left of the leaning gable end, it would have been flattened.

But maybe there is a silver lining.  The local farmer has been quarrying the ruin over the last few years, taking a few blocks of stone at a time.  Now, it will be much more difficult for him to get in and out, and maybe he'll leave the old ruin alone.

Divine intervention?  Or just Mistress Martha, playing tricks again?
